Moraine Fire Chief Retiring

Chief Stephen Kirby, a 30-year veteran of the Moraine Fire Division and a life-long resident of the City of Moraine will be retiring in January 2008. 

Message from Chief Kirby:

I would like to say thank you to the citizens and staff of Moraine for thirty wonderful years.  I have enjoyed meeting many of the citizens and serving the City where I grew up.

After thirty years of service for the Fire Division, it is time for my wife Debi and I to embark on another phase of our lives.  Words cannot express the gratitude to this City, the employees, and in particular, the firefighters for making the last thirty years memorable and rewarding

I am leaving with the confidence that my replacement, Chief, Tony Trick, will continue to serve the City with pride and enthusiasm.  Rest assured the current young men and women of Moraine’s Fire Division are well trained and willing to go above and beyond the call of duty to keep the citizens safe.  I will miss all of you.
